Buttermilk Syrup

1 cube butter
1/2 c corn syrup
1/2 c buttermilk
1/2 tsp bkg soda
3/4 c sugar

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a really big pot (it bubbles up a lot!) Boil until it turns a caramel color-about 1 minute or so (stirring throughout).

Serve on pancakes or french toast, on ice-cream or over fresh fruit. Perfect on Bread Pudding.

NOTE: Doubling the recipe? still only use 1 cube of butter. Quadrupling? Use 2 cubes
